For meat fans, a new dish is crispy slow-cooked pork belly, cooked sous vide then crisped in the pan. This is accompanied by bread-crumbed pork cheek, smoked macaroni cheese and wild garlic crumb. There are also old favourites like lamb shank and soon-to-be new favourites like beef cheek. Hearty meals for healthy appetites, with the reassurance that all our meat is sourced from Master Butcher Richards, just across the road.
For vegetarians, a new dish is a curry-roasted cauliflower, coriander cream sauce, jacket potato mash, crispy skins and a curried beetroot crumb.
Our new Sous Chef, Trevor, says: “People want dishes with plenty of flavour and colour when the weather is like this, which is what we like to provide.”
You can choose whether to eat next to the log fire in our cosy bar, or in the refined atmosphere of our restaurant.
