THE RESTAURANT
We have two Dining Rooms: One small & rather intimate, the other, which is also used for breakfast, is longer and slightly more involved with the activity of service to the bar. The latter has recently undergone a refurbishment. Yet still inkeeping with its 14th century origins. The small candlelit restaurant is next on the list for a face lift, but we still want to follow the romantic theme currently evident.
Our restaurants are really quite different to most, as we do not follow trends, they are, therefore, much more individual. Both rooms are attractive but entirely individual and there is a sort of country elegance about them. The atmosphere is relaxed and the lighting is soft and warm.
The regularly changing restaurant menu surpasses the high standard set by the bar bistro. Making the most of wonderful locally sourced produce, the kitchen brigade cook dishes to a high standard that has won many awards in the uk & recognition worldwide.
Famed for our puddings, we offer a diverse choice from our homemade ice creams & sorbets to special dishes such as the Polinka Parfait & Vanilla Bean Cream.
Seasonal Changes
Our Menus change with the seasons, as does the atmosphere in the dining rooms. From intimate & cosy with open log fires during the winter, to light & airy with fresh flowers throughout the hotel in the summer months. You can view ur current menu by using the link below.

OUR WINES
The quality and range of wines now imported to our shores is perhaps the most exciting ever. We hope you will find our new selection to your choice. Our new wine list reflects that choice as well as offering you some firm favorites.
The bar sells a large number of different vintages by the glass allowing the discerning drinker to sample a variety of wines.
We have a pricing policy for our wines which means our prices are very competitive with other hotels and restaurants, In particular. our fine wines represent exceptional value for money which we hope will encourage you to enjoy some superb wines with your meal.
